Eboni Winford
RVH Lead and co-chair of the steering committee
Eboni Winford, Ph.D., MPH, is the Vice President of Research and a licensed psychologist at River Valley Health in Knoxville, TN. She provides clinical care, contributes to workforce development in community health centers, and oversees research initiatives by HRSA, the TN Department of Health, and NIH. She is a co-founder of REACCH, Research and Engagement Aligned for Clinical and Community Health, a partnership between RVH and the University of Tennessee Knoxville that focuses on strengthening the health-related workforce; identifying and evaluating innovative ways to improve health outcomes; and enhancing the well-being of Tennesseans. She has served on the board of directors for national organizations including the Collaborative Family Healthcare Association, APA’s Ad Hoc Health Equity Committee, APHA’s Community Health Planning and Policy Development section, and NACHC’s Committee on Service Integration for Behavioral Health and HIV, as well as local boards including Centro Hispano and Volunteer Ministry Center. She is currently a member of the National Academy of Science, Engineering, and Medicine’s Standing Committee on Primary Care. Dr. Winford holds adjunct faculty positions at Meharry Medical College and at UTK. She is a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Interdisciplinary Fellow, a Health Equity Scholar in Cambridge Health Alliance’s Center for Health Equity Education and Advocacy, a midcareer fellow of the William T. Grant Foundation’s Institutional Challenge Grant, and an alumna of APA’s Leadership Institute for Women. Dr. Winford earned her doctorate in Clinical Health Psychology from UNC Charlotte and a Master of Public Health from UNC Chapel Hill. She is a proud life member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.

Hollie Raynor
UTK Lead and co-chair of the steering committee
Hollie Raynor, PhD, RD, LDN, is a professor in the Department of Nutrition and the Executive Associate Dean of Research and Operations for the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences. Hollie has partnered with RVH in engaged teaching, research, and service. She developed the initial practicum for the Department of Nutrition so that students could gain applied nutrition counseling skills while implementing the nutrition care process with RVH patients, partnered with RVH in developing a childhood obesity care intervention that could be delivered at RVH and evaluated this intervention with funding from the National Institutes of Health, and provides training to RVH healthcare providers on obesity care.
